AB Drawing on several alternative theoretical perspectives and using cross-national data,Gerald Fry assesses empirically the impact of both schooling and key developmental variables on levels of economic inequality. He reports that the expansion of schooling shows little relationship with inequality, while economic dependency is found to have the strongest association.
